Fina's new camera

I took over 100 pictures off Fina's camera this morning onto my computer. Most of them are either really blurry, butt shots, or pictures of crap on the floor. Also a series of my brother eating, because he had the unfortunate seat right across the table from Fi on Christmas morning. But here are a few of the best:

Pumpkins

Here is the picture Fina drew in the card she is sending to her grandma in Oregon. She was telling me about it as she drew it so I labeled the important bits for you.

Target

We went to Target today just for the heck of it. Fina was carrying Karin's camera case/purse and she got bored at the end and pulled the camera out.

We went to a graduation party today for my cousins who graduated from job corps this week. It was pretty nice. Here is the party from Fina's point of view:

Homework in color

I call this one "Daddy's homework in color". Lucky for her he has to enter his answers into the computer and this was just his scratch paper that he was doing calculations on.

Seeds

We took a bottle of glue home from my mom's yesterday to use for future crafts. Fina was so excited to "make a craft" that even though I wasn't planning to do anything with the glue for a while, I told her that I would let her glue something today. So I looked around the house for something that she could glue, and spied a bag of dill pickle sunflower seeds. They are nasty to eat, but perfect for a toddler to glue to construction paper.




She kept telling me, "I making a picture for Aunt Drink!" So it looks like my sister is going to have to hang this sucker on her fridge as punishment for having an adorable niece.

Today my sister came over and we went for a walk to the duckpond. She had brought her camera of course, and Fina grabbed it and said "My turn!" She took several shots but here are the best:

Dog

I was using my computer tonight and Fi came in and said, "Mama, I want color picture of a dog." and then she stared expectantly at the printer for a minute and said, "Make my dog come out!" So I printed her out a dog coloring page from the internet and she took it and said, "Thanks, I go color my doggie!"

Cupcake

On Saturday we went to Michael's where they were having a free craft day for kids. Fina made this little cupcake tag thing, and she was sooo proud of it. She's been trying to dismantle it ever since then so I have it hanging up but every time she sees it she says, "My cupcake!"

New Markers

Fina got a new box of markers yesterday and made this. I like how the guy looks kind of sad "Ho hum, I don't have any arms or legs."
